Maintenance policy
Source and content update policy
Sources have recorded review dates and review intervals. Automated checks can flag work, but only human review can approve research changes.
Scheduled review
Each source record includes a review date and a positive review interval. A source becomes due when that interval has passed. The interval is a maintenance reminder, not a claim that the page is continuously monitored.
Link checks are not research reviews
Automation may detect a broken link, redirect, or temporary server error. It does not change requirements, evidence classes, source relationships, or review dates. Those changes require source inspection and the documented update process.
Visible dates
Editorial pages show a reviewed date from their content record. Dataset and registry dates come from versioned files and do not change just because the site is rebuilt.
