Editorial standards
Editorial policy
Pages are written to answer a distinct practical question. Numerical requirements must trace to the versioned catalog or a clearly labeled calculation.
What guides our work
We prefer direct answers, primary sources, visible limitations, and tools that let readers change the assumptions. We do not add pages only to target slight variations of the same search.
- Official values are kept separate from site-derived planning values.
- Calculator changes must pass locked tests before publication.
- A page does not claim product testing or professional review unless it occurred and can be identified truthfully.
Editorial and commercial separation
The site publishes Google AdSense ownership declarations but does not currently load ad-serving code or render ad units. It does not publish provider recommendations, paid placements, or affiliate links. Any future advertising or commercial relationship cannot control calculation values, evidence labels, or source selection.
Authorship and review
Tyler Blanchard, Publisher and Research Lead, is responsible for publication decisions. His profile explains the scope and limits of that role. No outside technical reviewer is currently identified, and the site does not imply that independent expert review has occurred.
