A correction starts by identifying the page, source, or calculation at issue. Research changes are reviewed rather than applied automatically.

What to include in a correction
Please include the page URL, the exact statement or value in question, the source ID when relevant, a current primary source supporting the correction, and a brief explanation of the problem.

How corrections are handled
Editorial wording can be corrected after verification. A change to a Mbps value, evidence class, planning rule, source relationship, or locked result requires a documented data update and passing tests.
A reachable source page alone does not prove that its technical guidance is unchanged, and an automated link check never marks a source as reviewed.
Reports are reviewed before data changes are made. Automated reports do not change research, and a submission does not guarantee that a change will be accepted. No response deadline is promised.
Information to leave out
Do not include passwords, provider account numbers, home addresses, private service details, or other sensitive personal information.
