Guided diagnostic
Is your internet plan too slow, or is it the Wi-Fi?
Compare the plan's typical speeds with repeated tests near the router and in the room where the problem happens.
Connection diagnostic
Is it the plan or the Wi-Fi?
Use median results from three tests in each location to separate plan capacity from a room-to-room Wi-Fi gap.
Confirm the test conditions to show a diagnosis.
This tool checks throughput capacity. Latency, jitter, packet loss, interference, and reliability can still cause trouble even when Mbps results look adequate.
Test in two places
First test over Ethernet or near the router. Then repeat the test in the problem room. Three results in each place allow the tool to use the median instead of trusting one unusually fast or slow test.
What this result does not prove
The diagnosis is a throughput screen, not a repair guarantee. Latency, jitter, packet loss, interference, modem faults, provider congestion, and service-specific limits may need separate checks.
Start with the household speed calculator if you do not know your download and upload requirement. See Methodology for the locked diagnostic rules, then use the guides for slow internet or the plan-versus-Wi-Fi decision.
